Rhode Island TIPS Alcohol Training & Certification Online

The TIPS certified course(s) is approved by the State of Rhode Island and the Department of Mental Health, Retardation and Hospitals. The Department will approve only nationally recognized alcohol server training programs for the State of Rhode Island's mandatory alcohol server training requirement. The address you provide during registration determines the state & local regulations covered by the TIPS course taught, and where your permanent TIPS Card will be mailed. 
Alcohol Server Training is Mandatory for any person who sells or serves alcoholic beverages in Rhode Island. TIPS is an approved program certificate: #103. Alcohol training is also mandatory for anyone whose job description entails the checking of identification used in connection with the purchase of alcoholic beverages and any valet parking staff working at an establishment that sells or serves alcoholic beverages.
